Thank you to all of this year’s applicants that submitted project proposals to INPAWS for the Small Grants program. It is both wonderful and encouraging to see so much interest in Native Plants and enthusiasm for INPAWS’ mission throughout the state of Indiana!
The INPAWS Small Grant program has selected the following projects to receive funds for the 2012 season:
Constructing a Native Forest in Grizzly Park at Franklin College in Franklin, Johnson County
Community Classroom at University of Indianapolis, Marion County
Native Plant Discovery Program at Jameson Camp, Indianapolis, Marion County
Natural Habitat Project, Castleton United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, Marion County
Jeffers Nature Preserve Prairie Habitat Establishment, Huntingburg, Dubois County
Meredith Plaza Project, Washington, Daviess County
Hamilton County Park and Recreation’s Cool Creek Park and Nature Center Restoration Garden Project
Borcher’s Chapel Native Gardens, Seymour, Jackson County
Demonstration Pollinator Garden at Patoka River National Wildlife Refuge, Gibson County
Native Plant Interactive Garden at Indian Village Elementary School in Fort Wayne, Allen County
