INPAWS Mourns the Passing of Donovan Miller

Our friend Donovan Miller passed away this afternoon, surrounded by his family and the thoughts and prayers of the many friends he so graciously included in this final chapter of his life. Donovan was a founder of Letha’s Youth Outdoors Fund and Friends of Cold Spring School, the IPS environmental magnet. He loved nurturing plants and teaching children the gentle art of gardening. He will be sorely missed.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, February 5, 3:00 p.m., at the First Mennonite Church, 4601 Knollton Road, Indianapolis, IN 46228, 317-251-1980 (north of 38th Street & Cold Spring Road)

Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Cold Spring School Inc., Letha’s Youth Outdoors Fund, or the Turner Garden at Indiana State Museum.

So sorry to hear about Donovan's passing. I spoke to him just this last month, as he passed along to me someone who wanted to know more about native landscaping plants in an urban setting. He emphasized I needed to get on this, as he realized he didn't have long to live and wanted to see some action. I made the call! I will miss him.
