Southwest Chapter Seedswap November 19

Saturday, November 19 starting at 9:30 a.m.
Wesselman Woods Nature Center

SWINPAWS members will have the opportunity to share native plant seeds from their own gardens along with tips on how best to grow them. Members of the public are welcome to this free event.

Guest Speaker
Master Gardener & local greenhouse owner Judy Schneider Kron has years of experience growing and selling plants from seed. She has been hard at work experimenting with seeds from native plants and has much to share with us! Learn how inexpensive and easy it can be to grow many of your favorite natives.

Annual Native Seed Swap
After our guest speaker, stay for the seed swap and put that new knowledge to good use! You are invited to bring seeds from native plants to swap or give away. Potted plants are also welcome.

Don’t have any seeds? That’s okay! Come anyway. There are plenty of seeds to go around.

Will be moving into our new home on the 19th and will not be able to attend. But I need help in planning our lawn and yard. The basic goal is to have only plants that have food or medicinal value in it. This is a multi-year project and needs careful planning.

I would like to attend this meeting. I am have been interested in native plants for a long time, but am just now finding your organization. Please send me instructions on how to get to this seed swap event. I am not familiar with Wesselman Woods Nature Center. I have recently joined INPAWS and unfortunately am unable to attend annual conference due to several conflicts that date. Thanks so much!
