INPAWS’ Northeast Chapter presents Trees Talk. Recent scientific research has uncovered surprising information about trees and forests. In Trees Talk, Sandra Messner, outreach director, Indiana Forest Alliance (IFA), shares fresh data about the unusual way trees communicate, share resources, fight pests, and react to change. Join us Saturday, March 25, 2017, 1:30-2:30 P.M. at ACRES Land Trust office, 1802 Chapman Road, Huntertown, IN. Click here to learn more.

The IFA, a nonprofit organization, works to protect and promote Indiana’s native hardwood forest ecosystem, especially on public lands. IFA’s goal is to set aside 10 percent of Hoosier state forests from logging, allowing them to remain undisturbed for people and wildlife.
