Outreach at Public Events
Every member of INPAWS is a potential ambassador to the public.
We invite any of you to set up an INPAWS display at your local gardening or conservation event, using outreach materials that we provide. All you need is a table on which to set up the INPAWS display or poster and lay out brochures.
Regular Appearances
Following are some examples of shows and events at which INPAWS regularly has a presence.
Conservation Day at the Statehouse (January/February)
Home and Flower Show (February/March)

Step Up
Greeting the public from an INPAWS booth is always interesting. You never know what kinds of questions you’ll be asked and people you’ll meet.
Booth duty is a great chance to share your enthusiasm and to learn how best to engage the public with INPAWS and native plants. We can benefit from your experiences—please share them on the INPAWS blog.
Public outreach chair Karen LaMere will happily put you to work staffing a booth at any of the listed events. Contact her at public@inpaws.org.
Amy Smith would love your help staffing the INPAWS booth at Hoosier Outdoor Experience, a day of family friendly activities outside at Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park. Contact her at hoosier@inpaws.org.
