Every November, INPAWS members gather for a full day’s immersion in native plants. The public is invited too.
What to Expect
Conferees come early to pick up their materials, munch on a complimentary continental breakfast, and check out who’s attending. After the president’s greeting and a brief business meeting (e.g., election of officers), the immersion begins.
We usually have two keynote speakers—morning and afternoon—plus additional lectures and breakouts, depending on what the conference committee decides. During breaks, there’s time to visit displays by native plant friendly organizations and conference sponsors. The INPAWS bookstore is an ever-popular diversion as well. And, there’s plenty of good food and camaraderie to be enjoyed by all.
How to Register
Registration opens in September for the November event, and pre-registration is encouraged so that the committee knows how many to plan for. A registration brochure will be available at this site, and in the future we plan to make online registration possible.

►Hint: Many members pay their annual dues along with the conference fee. It’s an ideal way to remember to renew.
Sponsorship & Exhibitor Options for Businesses and Non-Profits
The INPAWS Annual Conference is a great place to showcase your business or non-profit organization. The Conference attracts avid naturalists, conservation activists, landscape professionals and gardeners who will be interested in your products and services. INPAWS continues to see strong growth, with increasing membership and vibrant programs.
We invite you to become a sponsor of the Annual Conference. Or, if you are a qualified non-profit entity, you may wish simply to bring an exhibit for conference participants to view between sessions.
Please use the appropriate registration form to register for either of these options. Mail it to Indiana Native Plant & Wildflower Society, Attn: AC Sponsor/Exhibitor, P.O. Box 501528, Indianapolis, IN 46250. We must have your registration information by October 15 at the latest.
Sponsor/Exhibitor Setup Instructions for Conference Day [info to come]
This year’s Annual Conference was held November 3 at University of Indianapolis, with the theme “It’s all about the plants!” More than 220 registered for the event.
Registration fees cover only a portion of conference expenses. INPAWS’ aim is to educate, not to make money, but it’s nice to at least break even. Your business or non-profit organization can help.
We invite you to support INPAWS as a Conference Sponsor. You’ll be helping a worthy cause while gaining high visibility for your business or organization with an audience likely to want to know about you.
